Trump Floods Truth Social with Nearly 150 Posts on Christmas Day
Unsilent Night: President Shares Flurry of Messages on Election Claims, Immigrants, and Politics

President Donald Trump marked Christmas Day with an intense burst of activity on Truth Social, posting nearly 150 times—and the count was still rising. The messages covered familiar themes, including complaints about the 2020 election, criticism of the media and Democrats, and comments on Somali immigrants.

The posts began in the early hours of Christmas morning. It’s not clear whether the 79-year-old president made them personally or if they were scheduled, especially after he attended a holiday dinner at Mar-a-Lago with his wife and family. One post extended Merry Christmas wishes to everyone, even “Radical Left Scum.” The White House did not respond to requests for comment on the timing.
Many posts amplified content from supporters, including unsubstantiated claims about the 2020 election. For example, Trump shared a video featuring Rudy Giuliani repeating allegations that 315,000 votes were improperly added to Joe Biden’s total in Fulton County, Georgia. Giuliani, who faced legal consequences for similar claims—including a defamation settlement—had his content boosted by the president. Trump also appeared to support suggestions that two Georgia poll workers, previously defamed by Giuliani, should compensate him.

Other reposts included allegations of election rigging in Michigan and a theory from comedian Roseanne Barr suggesting the COVID-19 pandemic was engineered to promote mail-in voting and disadvantage Trump’s reelection.
Immigration was another focus. Trump shared a clip of Deputy Chief of Staff Stephen Miller criticizing Somali immigrants, claiming Democrats want to transform parts of America into “a version of Somalia” for easier control. This was followed by attacks on Rep. Ilhan Omar (D-Minn.), who was born in Somalia. Alongside a video from Megyn Kelly questioning Omar’s citizenship, Trump posted: “Throw her out of the U.S., Now!”
On a positive note for his administration, Trump highlighted economic growth, sharing a Fox News segment where Commerce Secretary Howard Lutnick linked 4.3% GDP growth in the third quarter to Americans earning “4.3 percent more money.”
The Christmas Day posting spree underscores Trump’s active use of Truth Social as a direct channel to his audience, blending holiday messages with ongoing political commentary.
